Did you ever analyze list of available jobs for web-developers for example?
I did, and things what continue exist and growing - high priority to dev's who can write shitty code on WP with WC in stack to make so horrible solutions, use plugins and create front-end. And this people (vacancies) has better salary than people who can write own WP from zero. They don't need people like that, people who can do difficult things and make better solutions in big partition. In our community in Ukraine and Russia exist funny term: "Рыночек порешал". I know what exist also dev's job for Laravel, Symphony and etc. This is a little more difficult jobs, but this is still not a big dev's who understand many things when creating own solutions from 0 without extra functionality what including in stuck with mentioned frameworks. Many of dev's here said "you can't write own solution more productive and excluding bugs, this is cost so much time also". And yes, they are right, but in the beginning - you can't and it will be little slower than get ready solution with adding some code. Spending some time - it will be better than ready solution what you choose in beginning and this is real! Because spending some time on choosed solution you will get so much walls and problems what you can't solve in right good way and it will make more problems in the future, code will grow in progression like time what you will spend to solve problems... Anyway - at the end, own solution not cost much more than shitty code on choosed solutions. And sense all of this words not to tell what everyone should create own solution for every small project, things what I wanna tell is - dev's will be more unqualified and can't solve difficult things in the future because will not have such of experience, understanding how all is works and loose some knowledge.

Rasmus Lerdorf about PHP Frameworks - what did he said? This is prove all my words and I totally agree with him. And google who is Rasmus Lerdorf if you still don't know. I think his words should cost much in web-dev. And this is not depend 2021 today or 2016 when video was posted, all is still same. And yes - PHP is still popular language, this is a good language also even if have so much haters. I can write code on different programming languages so can said that, I think.
Next - money. So why market is changed in the bad way, why Real Programmers who can write front-end and back-end is paid more lower than simple coders? Why almost every project is same shit with same requests and requirements for frameworks? Yes, companies and startups still exist where they write own solutions, but so small part... And I will say why! Stereotypes, trying to save time and money, but as I said before they get much more shit in the future what will cost much more time and logically - payed time to solve it. Here some dev's will said "own solution is bad - this is because other dev's will spend much more time to understand code of previous dev", here I said - NO. Why? Because on ready solutions you will get much more hemoroidal problems when somebody try build something new in exist code or fix some issues, good if he left some comments at all. You will NEVER get the golden standard in both things. So don't said that bullshit!
So what is that? What we talking about at all? What vacancies right now more paid than other? Let's touch user side and how it's called in web-dev? Front-end... Yes, backend now is less paid than front-end and this is begun when React, Angular, Vue become popular on market. So anyone don't need now PHP dev's, all what they need - monkey code on React or similar framework for front-end and using WP for example with stack of shitty plugins, better if they use some framework like Laravel for back-end but this is not best solution also for big projects as I said before. Most of all everybody loves said what this is difficult and great solutions where you need use code on JS, not only css and html. Nope, even better front-end reactive libraries exist like Svelte for example. We not talk right now about things like SSR. And I don't touch right now including ton of libraries for all. But anyone don't need it because React exist and it's popular stereotypic library. Btw I used React and Svelte if you think what not.
Great job *Zoomers, great job! 0)0))) This how it's work. We just told what all of this is difficult and non tech guys will believe on it if many coders will tell that. Trying to be in trend, catch stereotypes and be on wave - will crash all great, creative mind's and create just more lazyness, stupid things and mess in the near future. And real good dev's can't do anything with this because they community is small, and they don't like to talk much about this. They don't wanna discuss much all pluses and minuses on every library, etc. This is not about deprecated and bad way in IT what I told you here, this is just new popular wave of bad growing IT trends.
P.S. I am not so GREAT or GOD in programming. You can hate me and said what I am just pseudo intellectual, toxic or nobody, but I have my own opinion and can write anything what I like in my own blog. Read or not - your choose always. )0))
